Why steel balls broken?
Steel balls manufacturers may face such a
problem, the steel balls break during grinding process. Why the balls broken?
The main reason comes from internal stress.
Simply speaking, the internal stress is the
physical dimension to measure physical efficacy-loosing related characters like
deformation degree, strength, tenacity etc.
If the parts are processed immediately after forging, even the size and precision can totally meet drawing requirement, the size and precision will not be qualified very soon. Where is the problem? It’s because the internal stress are not totally disappear and leads to the parts deformation.
