The influence of the steel ball surface roughness on bearing
The surface roughness of
the steel ball usually refers to the surface microscopic unevenness of the
steel ball, except the spherical deviation and waviness. The surface roughness
of the steel ball has a great influence on the middle and high frequency
vibration of the bearing, leading to the bearing noise. The surface roughness
of the steel ball has a far greater impact on the bearing vibration than the
raceway of the ring. The greater the surface roughness value, the higher the
vibration value of the bearing. Therefore, the surface roughness value of the
steel ball must be reduced.
