2.Cold heading
Raw material is deformed into blank under natural temperature.
3.Flashing
Removing the ring and improving the surface roughness.
4.Heat treatment
Making a carburized layer, by putting balls into stove (using the method of carburization, quenching and tempering), so as to improve the hardness, toughness and crush loading. The products stability and reliability can get improved by controlling heat treatment time and temperature.
5.Peening
The peening machine can make balls impacting together, so as to improve the surface pressure stress and hardness.
6.Grinding
The fixed plate and gridding wheel are working together under some pressure, to further improve the ball surface quantity and shape.
7.Lapping 1
Using two lapping plates and some abrasive material, then putting on some pressure and mechanical movement, so as to reach the target surface quality.
8.Checking
100% human checking.
Machine checking: Photoelectricity, Eddy current, Vibration to find the defects (surface problem, cracking, material missing).
9.Lapping 2
Using two lapping plates and some abrasive material, then putting on some pressure and mechanical movement, so as to further improve the balls precision and surface quality.
10.Washing
To improve the cleanness.
11.Final check
To check each batch balls and making inspection report.
12.Oil and Packaging
Taking anti-rust measures and make packaging according to customers requirement.
